This Bariatric Sheet Set is designed specifically for standard Bariatric Size hospital beds, which typically measure 42" in width. Skin-Friendly Knit Bariatric Size Hospital Sheets now available in 5 Colors! Comfort: This high quality knit sheet set is made of soft yet durable spun yarn that enhances user comfort. The patented knit fabric is structured with tiny micro-pores that improve moisture vapor transport away from the microclimate between the user and the mattress keeping the user drier and more comfortable. Quality: This specialty knit fabric is virtually pinhole free with a fabric construction that eliminates running or zippering if a hole is accidentally made. There are no elastic bands or fibers in their construction and the colors offered are highly colorfast so they can be laundered (sanitized) with chlorine-type bleach. Consequently, these knit sheets provide up to 3 times longer service life than a conventional jersey knit or flat woven sheet. Sizing Information: The size of this Hospital Sheet Set is designed to fit most standard Bariatric hospital beds. Bariatric beds typically measures 42" wide (which is wider than a standard 36" wide hospital bed). The length of the fitted sheet measures 82"; however, the elasticity of the material allows it to accommodate an 80" length mattress and stretch to fit up to an 84" length mattress. The depth of the fitted sheet will accommodate bariatric hospital mattresses or mattresses with overlays up to 14" deep. The fitted sheet includes tapered corners so that if your hospital mattresses is the standard 6"-8" high, the excess will simply be tucked under the mattress, as with any fitted sheet.
