This deluxe 24 oz. knit fitted sheet is designed specifically for extra wide Bariatric Size hospital beds, which typically measure 48" in width. Comfort: This high quality knit Fitted Sheet is made of soft yet durable spun yarn that enhances user comfort. The patented knit fabric is structured with tiny micro-pores that improve moisture vapor transport away from the microclimate between the user and the mattress keeping the user drier and more comfortable. Quality: This specialty knit fabric is virtually pinhole free with a fabric construction that eliminates running or zippering if a hole is accidentally made. There are no elastic bands or fibers in their construction and the colors offered are highly colorfast so they can be laundered (sanitized) with chlorine-type bleach. Consequently, these knit sheets provide up to 3 times longer service life than a conventional jersey knit or flat woven fitted sheet. Sizing Information: The size of this Fitted Sheet is designed to fit most standard 48" X-Wide Bariatric Hospital Beds. The fitted sheet measures 48" wide. The actual length of the fitted sheet measures 82" in length, which will easily stretch to fit from an 80" length mattress up to an 84" length mattress. The depth of the fitted sheet will accommodate hospital mattresses or mattresses with overlays up to 14" deep. The fitted sheet includes tapered corners so that if your hospital mattresses is the standard 6"-8" high, the excess will simply be tucked under the mattress, as with any standard fitted sheet.
